Leg 6 - Washington, DC
4/27/24 - 4/29/27
161 Miles
We were thrilled to add to our Loop adventure a trip up the Potomac to Washington, DC. Our daughter lives in DC thus it was top of our list in our planning. We were very happy when the plans and actual logistics aligned allowing us to visit especially on a weekend. We stayed at the Capital Yacht Club on the Washington Channel at the Wharf, a gorgeous new facility within the last 6 years, a perfect location. Staying at the Wharf allowed us easy access to the National Mall and abundant dining options. We are huge fans of DC, to be able to experience it from the water was a fresh take on what we we already love about visiting the Capital.
